The following links are provided for informational purposes only.  All are for organizations with similar missions and concern for the responsible management and administration of forest products. Every effort has been made to keep these links current.

REST IN PEACE RURAL AMERICA- An informative book about issues faced by rural America.

The Forest Foundation - is an organization that fosters understanding through education about renewable forest resources. They are now responsible for the popular Talk About Trees program that CWIT parented.

California Forestry Association - is an organization that keeps abreast of legislation and other activities of interest to individuals in the forest products industry.

Talk About Trees - This free program, aimed at first through sixth grade students, gives an overview of forest ecology, management practices, and forest product use. Trained facilitators bring the classroom a presentation and hands-on activities which promote learning. The best "field trip" in class!

American Agri-Women - Today, AAW has 50 state and commodity affiliate organizations as well as individual members throughout the country, representing tens of thousands of women involved in agriculture. Throughout the history of AAW, our members have been actively involved and making a difference in legislative and regulatory matters at the local, state, and national levels. They have also been instrumental in student and consumer education about agriculture, having initiated the Agriculture in the Classroom program at the national level are integrally involved in national and state programs still today.

Federated Women In Timber - Women In Timber Associations have been actively fighting for our way of life in the Forest Products Community since 1976. Based mostly in the Western States, but also as far east as Michigan, each Women In Timber Association is a grassroots, volunteer organization whose focus is: education, communication and legislation. Each state, or region, is organized, and in most cases incorporated, independently of each other, focusing on issues that affect their own state or region.

Evergreen Magazine - The Evergreen Foundation is a non-profit forestry research and educational organization. We were incorporated in Oregon in 1990 under Internal Revenue Service 501 (c)(3) guidelines which govern the conduct of all non-profits incorporated for religious, scientific, educational and charitable purposes.
